Introduction to Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre Virtual Reality (EIC VR)
"Protect Your Money, Secure Your Future" is the focused theme of Global Money Week (GMW) this year, 2024. To commemorate GMW, Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre (EIC) from the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam presents Coffee & Cendol Chat! engaging young people from higher institutions of Institute of Brunei Technical College (IBTE) and International Graduate Studies College (IGS) on their views, opinions, or perhaps, best practices to be shared with other Brunei young generations. The topic for this session is "Building Financial Resilience: Leveraging Entrepreneurial Skills To Earn, Save and Safeguard". Moderated by Dk Dianawati binti Pg Hj Patra, an EIC officer and a line of students, from IBTE: Muhammad Naqiuddin Bin Abdullah Mohammad Jailani @Abu Ubaidah Amir and Mohammad Nazim bin Suphien, and from IGS College: Muhammad Hudzaifah bin Zul Husam and Mohamad Johan Harith bin Mohamad.

BruIPO is responsible for the registration of Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Plant Varieties Protection (PVP). For this December EIC-Tivities 2022, Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre (EIC), Ministry of Education, brings BruIPO into the light for the public to know more about especially for start-ups, entrepreneurs, business people and those who plan to do businesses. Coffee & Cendol Chat, Series 2, Episode 3: Getting To Know Brunei Intellectual Property Office
Nowadays, financial literacy is an important skill to start from a young age, perhaps, very beneficial in our daily life journey. So here we engage teens aged 15-16 from the secondary school level in the 9th BigStart competition for their business ideations to support and strengthen the classroom learning curriculum. With the focus on ideation integrating financial literacy in school curriculums through pragmatic activities, teachers are given the trust to train their students to produce creative and innovative ideas on financial literacy as well as part of entrepreneurship and innovation education. For the secondary school level, 15 schools have participated in the 9th BigStart competition as follows: 1. Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan 2. Maktab Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien 3. BigStart Competition 2022

Celik Biz Competition 2022
The Bootcamp project is a collaboration between Jabatan Pendidikan Khas (Department of Special Education) and Pusat Keusahawanan Inovasi (Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre). It is a continuation of the Bootcamp project that has been implemented specifically for students with special needs who follow the Pre-Vocational Program in 2021. In addition, this project is intended to further expand the knowledge of Homeroom teachers (HRT) in the field of entrepreneurship, especially in producing quality products. The first Bootcamp project involved 8 schools that were selected and participated by students selected by the Homeroom teachers themselves. The selection of previous schools is based on the reputation of each school according to criteria and other aspects such as planning, implementation, and according to the student’s skills. In 2021, this project was implemented in a hybrid way when the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic hit the country. However, the process of manufacturing products and services has been well implemented by the HRT teachers and students with special needs who participated in this project. The results of the products through the first project are indeed very encouraging and of good quality, so this year, the participation for the second Bootcamp Project shows an increase of 13 government secondary schools. The participating schools are as follows: 1. SM Sultan Hassan, Bangar 2. SM Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha, Tutong 3. SM Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab 4. SM Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja, Mentiri 5. SM Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah 6. SM Menglait 7. SM Perdana Wazir 8. SM Lambak Kiri 9. SM Sayyidina Othman 10. SM Sayyidina Abu Bakar 11. SM Sayyidina Hasan 12. SM Katok 13. SM Sayyidina Ali In addition, the preparation and implementation of this project can be carried out more successfully and have a more positive impact on the teachers and students concerned.
